Start your journey ashore from Greenock Cruise Terminal with a visit to The Kelpies—Scotland’s remarkable 30-metre-high (95 feet) steel sculptures shaped like mythical water horses. Standing majestically on the Forth & Clyde Canal, The Kelpies are a marvel of modern art and a stunning tribute to Scotland’s industrial heritage.
Next, we’ll make our way to Stirling Castle, one of Scotland’s grandest and most historically significant castles. Known for its breathtaking views and fascinating history, the castle was once home to kings and queens, including Mary, Queen of Scots. Admission is included, giving you full access to explore the castle’s grand halls, gardens, and mediaeval architecture.
After lunch in the local area, we’ll take you to meet some of Scotland’s most beloved residents—Highland cows! Here, you’ll have the chance to interact, feed, and snap photos with these iconic gentle giants.
Our final stop is the charming village of Luss on the banks of Loch Lomond. Take a relaxing walk through this quaint town and enjoy the stunning views across the loch – a perfect ending to your Scottish adventure.
After exploring Scotland’s iconic landmarks and meeting its famous Highland cows, we’ll head back to the cruise terminal, wrapping up a wonderful day of discovery ashore with us.

For any shore excursion in Scotland, preparation is key to enjoying your adventure comfortably. Our weather is famously changeable, so checking the forecast and dressing in layers is essential:
Light base layer
Sweater or fleece
Waterproof jacket
Comfortable shoes are also a must, as many destinations feature cobbled streets, rugged trails, or castle grounds that require footwear capable of handling different types of uneven surface.
While many places accept cards, having a bit of cash on hand can be helpful.
A small backpack is useful for carrying essentials like snacks, extra clothing, and any souvenirs you may pick up along the way.
Finally, don’t forget to bring a camera or smartphone to capture all those sights on your excursion with us!
